Welcome to the online home of the parent community at Oak Knoll. I hope you share my excitement about being an active member of this special community and will consider joining us as a supporter, volunteer and/or attendee at many of our events this year.
All Oak Knoll parents are automatically members of the Parents’ Association, a talented group of parents who support and enrich our community. For those of you who are new to Oak Knoll, you will quickly learn that part of what makes this school such a special place is that sense of community. Parents, teachers, administrators, and students alike come together in a very genuine and cohesive manner.
Throughout the year, the Parents’ Association plans and hosts many exciting events. We sponsor several Masses and retreats for the parent community each year and also many events for the students such as our annual Family Fun Day and Spirit Walk. We hold fundraisers like the Royal Boutique, a holiday shopping bazaar; a fashion show; and the Grand Prix, our annual dinner and auction. The Parents’ Association also supports our teachers, staff, and volunteers with Teacher Appreciation Day and the Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon. Our Good Samaritan program and our Welcome Committee assist any members of our community who are in need or new to our school. The success of these many programs relies on our talented, energetic parent volunteers.
Opportunities to get involved are numerous and varied. Please take a few minutes to read through our volunteer form and learn about the many ways you can get involved in our events and programs – you can join us at any time! Volunteering at Oak Knoll is a great opportunity to meet new friends or gather with old friends. Hope to see you soon!
