Extended Care

Supervised extended care is available for a fee during designated before and after school hours. Please review our extended care fee chart.

AM Care

A child is automatically charged for AM care if arriving in the library prior to 7:45 a.m. Our staff uses the library clock.

After-School Drop-In Care

After-School Adventures offers the option of children “dropping-in” to a club. Oak Knoll students may drop in on any day by sending a note to their homeroom teacher. Students will then be directed to the drama room at the time of dismissal. Students will be sent to a club program based on available space. Not all clubs are available to drop in; to check availability of a specific club, please call 908-522-8186. Please review our extended care fees.

Any child not picked up in the car line by 3:25 p.m. will be sent to the drama room. A child is automatically charged a drop-in fee if they join our program after school.

After-School Extended Care

For parents who cannot pick up their child at 4:30 p.m., students can be supervised in the Bonaventura Hall Media Center for homework and computer games. Students can drop in any day that we are open or sign up for a specific day each week – up to all five days in the week. Our after-school extended care runs until 5:30 p.m. each day. If you know your child will be staying at school after 4:30 p.m., it is best to e-mail (adventures@oakknoll.org) or call (908-522-8186) the Adventures office, so we can ensure coverage.
