Mini Camp is offered during the two weeks in between the close of the Oak Knoll school year and the official start of the Summer Adventures program. Following are details on our 2012 programs; registration forms will be posted in February 2012.
Available spots in our Mini Camp are reserved on a first-come,
first-served basis. A completed registration form accompanied by full
payment is required to reserve a spot for your child. For the success of
our programs, we reserve the right to close a program when it is determined by
us that we have reached the acceptable amount of registrations for that
program.
Please register early to avoid being closed out!
Basketball Clinic
Week 1: June 11-15, 2012
Week 2: June 18-22, 2012
Hours: 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Grades: K-8
Price: $385 per week; $90 any full day or $55 any half day (9 a.m. - noon). Includes lunch for full-day participants only.
Back by popular demand! Sina's Hoop Academy returns to Oak Knoll to run another fabulous mini camp. This camp is designed to enhance the development of the total basketball player. Emphasis is placed on individual skill technique in shooting, ball handling, rebounding, and offensive and defensive strategies. Practice sessions will be organized using drills, exercises, and scrimmages created to challenge players at any level.
This camp is directed by Mergin Sina.
Summer Theater Workshop
Featuring songs and scenes from a popular musical

Grades: K-8
Time: Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. - 2:45 p.m. (Friday, June 22 will conclude at 1:30 p.m.)
Director: Patti Cepparulo
Cost: $785 for the two-week session (lunch and snack included)

June Adventures
Week 1: June 11-15, 2012

Time: 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Fee: $495 for all 10 days; $275 for five days; or $65 per day (lunch included)
Participants have an opportunity to play, socialize, explore and experiment in the company of friends. Each fun-filled day will be an adventure in science, arts and crafts, sports and games, sprinklers, and more!
Soccer Clinic
Week 1: June 11-15, 2012

Time: 9 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. (K-Grade 2); 9 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. (Grades 3-8)
Fee: $165/week (K-Grade 2); $345/week (Grades 3-8)
Lunch option: $40/week; $10 day (for half-day campers)
Phillip Iuliano, current Oak Knoll soccer coach and director of Victory Soccer Academy joins the Mini Camp team! Players will be grouped by skill level. Daily schedule includes a combination of skills and drills along with game strategy. Days will be packed full of creative competitive games. Coaches strive to create a positive, competitive learning environment where abilities can develop and succeed. Camp is held on the Oak Knoll turf field, and includes full lunch, drink, and dessert daily for full-day campers. Sprinklers available for cooling off as well! Soccer Mini Camp combines great coaching with great facilities - don't miss it!
Tennis Clinic
Week 1: June 11-15, 2012

Grades K-2: 9-11:30 a.m., $200/week
Grades 3-8: 1-4 p.m., $240/week
Groups will be formed according to age and ability. All participants will receive a merit award and t-shirt! All participants must provide his/her own racket. Balls and other specialized equipment provided by First Serve Tennis Academy.
K-Grade 2: Participants will establish a strong technical foundation of the basic grips, strokes, and footwork through fun and age-appropriate tennis drills and games! Energetic and dynamic coaches will keep your child engaged and having fun while learning the game of tennis!
Grades 3-6: Participants will learn the basics as well as spins, serves, and the games of doubles tennis! Strategy, good sportsmanship and scoring will be covered as well as tennis etiquette. Beginners and players with some previous experience are welcome!
