Summer Adventures is seeking quality individuals with the camp spirit. Positions are available as head counselor, assistant counselor, lifeguard, and activity specialist. Candidates must be available for a minimum of four weeks from June 28 – August 20, Monday – Friday. Camp hours are 8:30 a.m. – 3:45 p.m. We provide training on camp policies and operations in June in the evening. We also offer CPR/AED/first aid training at no cost to interested parties. The success of our camp season is directly related to the quality of our counselors.
Summer Adventures offers exciting summer adventures to children ages 3-16 with age-specific groups and a wide variety of activities. A sampling of activities include: indoor/outdoor sports and games, computers, music, gymnastics, dance, fencing, archery, tennis, arts and crafts, swimming, and lacrosse. Lunch is provided for all staff and campers in our air-conditioned dining hall. Summer Adventures is a great place for adults and children to spend all or part of their summer.

Positions
Head Counselor: Must be at least 21 years of age with a teacher certification. Responsible for a group of 16 – 20 children. Ensures that group is safe and well cared for at all times. Individual must have the ability to work with groups of children and be able to direct them in activities.
Assistant Counselor: Must be at least 18 years of age. Responsibilities are to assist head counselor with activities and with campers.
Junior Counselor: Must be at least 16 years of age. Responsibilities are to assist head counselor with activities and with campers. Hours are determined by responsibilities, group assignment, and other duties.
Specialist: Must have teacher certification and teaching experience in specialty. Hours are determined by specialty and other duties. Specialty areas include: Arts and crafts, indoor/outdoor sports, tennis, photography, fencing, music, dance, archery, computers, science and nature, gymnastics, lacrosse, lifeguarding, and performing arts.
