Support Us

In 1924, the extraordinary gifts of time, talent and financial support from the Society of the Holy Child Jesus provided the means for Oak Knoll to open its doors for the first time. Since then the Oak Knoll community has always responded generously and enthusiastically when asked for support, and we are very grateful to all those whose gifts have helped secure our standing as an outstanding educational institution.

Philanthropy is, by its very nature, a meaningful process and an activity. It is influenced by many factors, including one’s situation in life and one’s values. Likewise, the needs of the school move in cycles as well. The funding vehicles that support Oak Knoll through its current, short-term and long-term goals anticipate those needs. Through thoughtful and generous donors providing support for the Annual Fund, supplementing our capital requirements, and bolstering our endowment, Oak Knoll’s mission continues to thrive.

As is typical with all independent schools, tuition alone does not cover the total cost of educating an Oak Knoll student. Annual Fund donations, in addition to tuition, have always been essential for us to sustain and enhance the school’s environment for teaching and learning, offering our students and faculty diverse opportunities and experiences. Therefore, every year we ask for contributions to provide the balance of the school’s operating expenses. In addition, our plans for the future are ambitious and we know that we will continue to require significant funds to meet our expenses, preserve financial stability and maintain the best facilities.

As a part of the Oak Knoll community, it is anticipated that everyone—parents, alumnae/i, trustees and friends—will thoughtfully consider and participate in supporting the school over and above tuition. In return, it is Oak Knoll’s task to recognize those contributions and to use them prudently and responsibly.

We are deeply appreciative of your interest in supporting our students and faculty.
