Oak Knoll is located in a residential neighborhood in Summit, N.J., on the western edge of Union County. Summit is easily accessible via Route 24, Interstate 78, or the Garden State Parkway.
From the East—Take I-78 West to Route 24 West. Exit at Summit Ave (not Broad Street). Turn left at the light onto Summit Avenue. Follow the Local Directions, listed below.
From the West/Southwest—Take I-78 East to Route 24 West. Exit at Summit Avenue. Turn left at the light and cross over Route 24. Follow the Local Directions, listed below.
From the Northwest—Take I-287 South to Route 24 East. Exit at Summit Avenue. Turn right onto Summit Avenue. Follow the Local Directions, listed below.
Local Directions—Continue on Summit Ave through the Summit residential section to the main street in the middle of town, which is Springfield Avenue. Continue straight across Springfield Avenue, over the railroad tracks until you reach the second light, which is Morris Avenue. Make a right on Morris Avenue. Continue to Prospect Street light and make a left (The Connection will be on the left, and it will be a light with only a left hand turn). Continue on Prospect.
For Grace Hall/Upper School - Continue on Prospect through the blinking light, until you reach Blackburn. Make a left and the campus is on the left. Enter at the far end of the circular driveway and follow signs for visitor parking.
For Lower School - Continue on Prospect and make a left at the blinking light, Tulip Street. Continue to the stop sign at Ashland Rd. Make a right onto Ashland and proceed one block. Entrance is on the right.
To Chatham Athletic Fields (Upper School Field Hockey, Soccer, Lacrosse, and Softball):

From the Northwest—From I-287 South, take Exit 35 and stay to the right. Turn right onto Madison Street and immediately get into the left lane. Turn left at the first light, South Street. Cross over I-287 and travel about 100 yards to Woodland Avenue. Turn left. Travel approximately 2.5 miles and at the first traffic light, turn right onto Loantaka Way. Within a quarter of a mile, make the first left (at the yield sign) onto Shunpike. As you approach the Hickory Square Mall shopping center on the right, turn right at the traffic light onto Green Village Road. The fields are about half a block down, on your right.
From the Southwest—From I-287 North, take Exit 35 and turn right onto South Street. Travel about 100 yards to Woodland Avenue. Turn left. Travel approximately 2.5 miles and at the first traffic light, turn right onto Loantaka Way. Within a quarter of a mile, make the first left (at the yield sign) onto Shunpike. As you approach the Hickory Square Mall shopping center on the right, turn right at the traffic light onto Green Village Road. The fields are about half a block down, on your right.
From the Garden State Parkway—Take 78 West to Route 24 West. Exit at River Road/Short Hills Mall toward Summit. Travel on River Road, past Morris Avenue into Chatham. The road becomes Watchung Avenue, and farther on, it becomes Shunpike. Continue until you reach the Hickory Square Mall shopping center on the left. Just past the shopping center, turn left onto Green Village Road (IMPORTANT: just before the shopping center, the road to the right is also Green Village Road, but DO NOT make the left at that intersection). The fields are on your right.
From Summit—Leaving Summit, at the intersection of Morris Avenue and River Road, travel on River Road toward Chatham. The road becomes Watchung Avenue, and farther on, it becomes Shunpike. Continue until you reach the Hickory Square Mall shopping center on the left. Just past the shopping center, turn left onto Green Village Road (IMPORTANT: just before the shopping center, the road to the right is also Green Village Road, but DO NOT make the left at that intersection). The fields are on your right.
NOTE: All Lower School Athletic practices and home games take place at Oak Knoll in Summit.
