Growing in Faith and Service

Guided by our Catholic values, we create meaningful opportunities for students to engage in acts of kindness, develop their spiritual identity, and foster a sense of belonging.

At Oak Knoll, students from all faiths grow in spirit and leadership, enveloped in a community rooted in Catholic traditions and inspired by the teachings of Holy Child Founder Cornelia Connelly. It’s where inclusivity meets purpose, shaping empathetic leaders for a diverse world in our independent Catholic school.

Holy Child Goal 1: Holy Child Schools foster a faith commitment that leads to a joyous personal relationship with God in addressing the realities of the world.

Campus Ministry

Campus ministry significantly shapes the school experience across all grade levels at Oak Knoll, promoting Cornelia Connelly’s ethos of “Actions, not words” through active participation in liturgical traditions, service work, and leadership roles in faith activities. This integral aspect of the school culture instills a deep appreciation for faith and service from the Lower School onwards, evolving into more prominent, experiential religious roles in the Upper School, thereby fostering a lifelong commitment to compassion and communal responsibility.

Community Service

At Oak Knoll, a commitment to service is a fundamental part of our identity, seamlessly integrated into the lives of our students from the Lower School through to the Upper School. Grounded in the wisdom of Cornelia Connelly that “the whole world is my country; and heaven is my home,” our students actively participate in a wide range of service opportunities, reflecting a deep understanding of the importance of serving both local and global communities.
