Trust the children and never let your confidence in them be easily shaken. Confidence begets confidence.” – Cornelia Connelly, founder of the Society of the Holy Child Jesus

Experience the Power of a Holy Child Education

On behalf of the Office of Lower School Admissions, I would like to personally welcome you to Oak Knoll School.

Founded in 1924, the Lower School at Oak Knoll School of the Holy Child is a Catholic independent institution, coeducational from pre-K to grade 6. Oak Knoll is more than an education – it is a community where students, teachers, parents and alumnae/i work together to lay the groundwork for our children’s future success in life.

We continue the “Actions, not words” philosophy of our founder, Cornelia Connelly, preparing our children for the 21st century and beyond.

As part of a global network of schools – 10 across the United States and 13 overseas – we prepare our students to become global citizens. Small class sizes offer personalized attention and a wide variety of signature learning opportunities, including a state-of-the-art IDEAS Lab, Lego robotics and 3D printing. Our older students experience our specialized leadership curriculum, which encourages them to participate in and impact the leadership community of the school. We also offer competitive athletic programs in lacrosse, soccer, field hockey, cross country, baseball and basketball. Go Royals!

We want our children to feel confident in who they are and become the best version of themselves – intellectually, physically, socially and spiritually. Our children transform into brave, bold, powerful wonderful young men and women.

I have so much more to explore and share with you and encourage you to come visit. I would love to get to know your family, answer your questions and show you all that our Holy Child School has to offer.

I hope to see you soon.
