Several members of the Oak Knoll varsity field hockey team that won the program’s sixth Non-Public title in seven years and its tenth since 2006 were named to multiple All-American and All-Region teams last week.
Avery Donahue ’20 and Bridget Murphy ’20 were named to All-American teams by Max Field Hockey and Go Play Sports Tours/National Field Hockey Coaches Association.
The juniors were previously named to both organizations’ All-Region Teams. In addition, Anabelle Brodeur ’20 was named First Team All-Region by Max Field Hockey and All-Region by the NFHCA.
Keely Comizio ’21 and Caroline Ramsey ’19 were also named to Max Field Hockey’s Second Team All-Region.
Oak Knoll field hockey coach Ali Good ’95 expressed pride in her players, praising their skill and leadership.
“I am so proud of the accomplishments that our student-athletes have received,” Good said. “I am so fortunate to get an up-close look at all the hard work and dedication they put in competing at the highest level.
“Having their efforts recognized at the regional and national level is truly remarkable,” she added. “They are competitive athletes, skilled players, supportive teammates and, most importantly, women of character.”
