Oak Knoll Goes “All In” for the 2025-26 School Year

Oak Knoll School of the Holy Child opened the 2025-26 school year with energy to match its new Upper School theme: “All in, all year.” From the hilltop to the Lower School hallways to the turf, campus buzzed on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, as students reconnected with friends, swapped summer stories with teachers, and stepped into a year of possibility.

The day began in prayer as dozens of parents gathered in Grace Hall Chapel for the Parents’ Association Opening Day Mass, celebrated by longtime Oak Knoll friend and former board chair Msgr. John “Jack” Carroll. Later in the week, our Upper School faculty prayed the rosary, and the entire PK-12 community joined together in prayer for those affected by the tragedy at Annunciation Catholic School and Parish in Minneapolis, uniting with schools nationwide through the National Catholic Education Association’s effort.

Time-honored traditions returned in full force. Seniors marked their “last first day” with photos on the senior steps, sixth graders donned their iconic red sweatshirts, and new students were welcomed into one of Oak Knoll’s four Houses — a joyful way to build connection and school spirit from day one. There were simple delights, too: an ice cream truck (and Kona Ice!) fueling smiles and conversation across campus.

With faith, friendship, and tradition at the center, Oak Knoll has stepped confidently into its 101st year — ready to be all in for growth, purpose, and joy.
