Oak Knoll Students Earn AP Scholar Awards

Oak Knoll is proud to announce that 16 Upper School students were recognized as AP Scholars, three as AP Scholars with Honor, one as AP Scholar with Distinction, and one as a Commended Student in the 2025 National Merit Scholarship Program. They achieved these accolades based on scores received taking exams in May of 2024.

“We are pleased to recognize these students for their pursuit of excellence in academic studies,” explained Upper School Division Head Laura Hollenbaugh. “This high level of achievement with challenging coursework showcases a student culture at Oak Knoll that values hard work and a commitment to continuous learning.”

The following students were designated as AP Scholars for receiving scores of 3 or higher on three or more AP exams:

  • Melissa Dardanello ’25 of Basking Ridge

  • Alexandra Huegel ’25 of Essex Fells
  • Charlotte Isabel ’25 of Essex Fells
  • Claire Kleedorfer ’25 of Maplewood
  • Grace Koetje ’25 of Westfield
  • Victoria Lagios ’25 of Florham Park
  • Vittoria Maher ’25 of Madison

The following students were designated as AP Scholars with Honor for achieving an average score of 3.25 on all AP exams taken and scores of three or higher on four or more of these exams:

  • Cora Laborde ’25 of West Orange
  • Amelia Pace ’25 of Morristown
  • Clara Vales ’25 of Morris Plains

The following student was designated as AP Scholar with Distinction for achieving average scores of at least 3.5 on all AP exams taken and scores of 3 or higher on five or more of these exams:

  • Isabella Dasilva ’25 of Morristown

The following student was designated as a Commended Student by taking the PSAT/NMSQT test in their junior year and then scoring in the top 2-3% of all test takers:

  • Beatrice Burton ’25 of Chatham
