The Oak Knoll Royals varsity lacrosse team captured the program’s seventh Union County Championship on Saturday, May 9, 2026, defeating crosstown rival Kent Place Dragons 9-6 at Arthur L. Johnson High School.

It marked the second time in seven days the Royals defeated the Dragons, following a thrilling 9-8 victory in quadruple overtime on May 2.

The title was the program’s first county championship since 2023 and extended the Royals’ winning streak to 10 games.

Oak Knoll improved to 13-3 on the season and will return to action on Tuesday, May 12, when the Royals host the Madison Dodgers.
