New to Oak Knoll this year are:
Jonathan Calero
- At Oak Knoll: Jonathan joins Oak Knoll as our new Staff Accountant in the Business Office
- Education: Jonathan is a graduate of Kean University with a bachelor's degree in finance
- Prior to Oak Knoll: Jonathan joins Oak Knoll from a CPA firm in Cranford, New Jersey, where he was responsible for financial reporting and many accounting functions.
Brad Dexter
- At Oak Knoll: Brad joins Oak Knoll as a new member of our Upper School History Department
- Education: Brad is a graduate of Fordham University, where he earned a Master of Arts in Teaching Social Studies: Grades 7-12. In addition, he earned a Bachelor of Arts from Boston College, with a double major in history and political science.
- Prior to Oak Knoll: Brad comes to us from Saint Peter’s Prep, where he taught a variety of history and social studies courses and was also a college counselor. In his nearly three decades as an educator, Mr. Dexter has demonstrated a strong commitment to Catholic education as well as an appreciation for the benefits of an all-girls environment, shaped by his thirteen years at Convent of the Sacred Heart in New York, NY. Mr. Dexter is also an experienced swim and soccer coach and embraces opportunities to foster student growth through co-curricular clubs and activities.
Delilah Gámez:
- At Oak Knoll: Delilah joins Oak Knoll as a member of our Upper School Math Department
- Education: Delilah is a graduate of Hofstra University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in chemistry with minors in math and fine arts. In addition, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in commercial photography from the Brooks Institute in Santa Barbara, California.
- Prior to Oak Knoll: Delilah joins us from the Winchendon School in Winchendon, MA, where she taught math as well as photography and also served as a student advisor and after-school supervisor. She is committed to creating a classroom environment that fosters positive outcomes for diverse learners and is excited to bring her passion for teaching to the Oak Knoll community.
Laura Hollenbaugh
- At Oak Knoll: Laura joins Oak Knoll as the Upper School Division Head
- Education: Laura holds an undergraduate degree in psychology from Columbia University and has earned two master’s degrees: one in school counseling from Seton Hall University and another in educational leadership from St. Peter’s University.
- Prior to Oak Knoll: Laura joins us from Mount St. Dominic Academy in Caldwell, New Jersey, where she served as principal. Her prior experience also includes roles as assistant principal for Academics at Don Bosco Prep in Ramsey, school counselor, and social studies teacher.
Rosalie Intartaglia:
- At Oak Knoll: Rosalie joins Oak Knoll as a member of our Upper School Math Department as both teacher and department chair
- Education: Rosalie graduated from St. Joseph’s University, where she earned a Master’s in Finance and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science/Management and Information Systems. She also recently received State of New Jersey Principal and Assistant Superintendent certifications through Caldwell University. Ms.
- Prior to Oak Knoll: Rosalie comes to us from Saint Helena School in Edison, NJ, where she worked as an advanced mathematics teacher and curriculum coordinator. She brings a strong sense of faith and a commitment to Catholic education to the Oak Knoll community.
Elizabeth Jacobson ’12
- At Oak Knoll: Elizabeth joins Oak Knoll as a maternity leave replacement for our Assistant Athletic Director
- Education: Elizabeth is a graduate of Harvard University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in psychology. She is joining Oak Knoll as the maternity leave replacement for Assistant Athletic Director Dr. Melissa White. Welcome back, Elizabeth!
- Prior to Oak Knoll: After graduating, Elizabeth continued her work at Harvard as a development coordinator for the Harvard College Fund, student academic advisor, and field hockey assistant coach. She possesses an array of skills and experiences related to athlete development, coaching, program design, project planning, fundraising and budgeting, digital content creation, and more.
Robert Sellers:
- At Oak Knoll: Robert joins Oak Knoll as a member of our Upper School History Department
- Education: Robert is a graduate of Cornell University where he earned a Master of Business Administration from the Johnson Graduate School of Management. In addition, he earned a Bachelor of Arts in political science from Yale University.
- Prior to Oak Knoll: Robert comes to Oak Knoll from Don Bosco Prep in Ramsey, NJ, where he demonstrated his capabilities as a multi-disciplinary educator, teaching courses in the business, English, and history departments. With a passion for student-centered, discussion-based learning, Mr. Sellers thoughtfully designs his courses to meaningfully engage students as critical thinkers who learn to respectfully articulate their beliefs and appreciate diverse perspectives.
Lynn Sharp
- At Oak Knoll: Lynn joins Oak Knoll as our new Pre-K Lead Teacher
- Education: Lynn received her Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education, with a Minor in Art, from Chestnut Hill College in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and her Master of Arts degree in Education and Human Services from Villanova University, in Villanova, Pennsylvania. Mrs. Sharp holds several educational certifications, including a Pennsylvania Teaching Certificate PreK-3, a New Jersey Elementary Teaching Certificate K-6, a Pennsylvania Elementary Principal Certificate, and a New Jersey Principal/Supervisor Certificate.
- Prior to Oak Knoll: Lynn brings over 15 years of teaching experience in kindergarten, first grade, and third grade as a classroom teacher and worked with kindergarten through grade 4 as a language arts and math specialist. She also brings several years of administrative experience, during which she coached and supervised teachers at levels from Pre-K through middle school grades.
Brien Szabo
- At Oak Knoll: Brien joins our creative arts department this year as a photography teacher
- Prior to Oak Knoll: Brien comes to us from Holy Savior Academy, is a professional photographer, and has authored five fiction novels and one non-fiction book about photography.
Lore Walsh
- At Oak Knoll: Lore joins Oak Knoll as our new Grade 6 Homeroom, Language Arts and Reading, Religion and Leadership Teacher
- Education: Lore received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Montclair State University in Montclair, New Jersey, and her Master of Arts degree in Educational Technology from Saint Elizabeth University in Morristown, New Jersey. She holds both a New Jersey K-12 teacher of English certificate and a K-12 supervisory certificate.
- Prior to Oak Knoll: Lore comes to Oak Knoll from Hillside Avenue School in Cranford, New Jersey, where she held the position of Middle School Language Arts Teacher and was the sixth-grade team leader.
Natalie White:
- At Oak Knoll: Natalie joins Oak Knoll as an Administrative Assistant in the College Counseling Office
- Education: Natalie is a graduate of Muhlenberg College, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in psychology.
- Prior to Oak Knoll: Natalie comes to us from the Banyon School in Fairfield, NJ, where she served as an Administrative Assistant to the Supervisors of Curriculum and Instruction. She also previously worked in the Special Services Department in the Madison Public Schools district and demonstrates strong organizational, communication, and digital skills.
