Oak Knoll Winter Track Team Places 2nd in Prep Championship

Oak Knoll’s Winter Track Team achieved an impressive second-place finish at the NJSIAA Prep A Championship held on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, in Lawrenceville. The Royals showcased exceptional talent and determination, earning five gold medals in individual and team events.

Standout performances included Danya Spoor ’25 securing wins in both the High Jump and 800-meter events, while Reagan Moore ’27 dominated the 200-meter and 1600-meter races. Adding to their success, Ella Hennessy ’26, Spoor, Anna Wojie ’25, and Moore teamed up to claim first place in the 4x400-meter relay, highlighting their incredible teamwork and versatility.

Earlier in the season, the Royals also demonstrated their competitive prowess by finishing second in the Union County Championship.

The team is now gearing up for the Non-Public A State Championship, set to take place on Friday, February 21, 2025, at 4:30 p.m. in Toms River.
