Just weeks after earning a podium finish at the NJSIAA Meet of Champions, Oak Knoll rising senior Reagan Moore ’27 added another remarkable achievement to her already impressive season, capturing the 800-meter national championship at the New Balance Nationals Outdoor meet on June 22 at Franklin Field in Philadelphia.

Moore crossed the finish line in 2:05.00 to claim her second national title, adding to the indoor national championship she earned in 2025. Racing against some of the nation’s top high school runners, Moore took the lead early and never relinquished it, powering to victory in one of the premier events of the national championship meet.

The victory caps another outstanding year for Moore, who also won the 800 meters at the NJSIAA Indoor Meet of Champions and finished among the state’s top performers throughout the outdoor season.

Her success reflects not only exceptional talent but also the dedication, resilience, and competitive spirit that have defined Oak Knoll’s track and field program this year.

Moore was one of several Royals to compete at the season's highest levels. Earlier this month, she helped lead Oak Knoll to strong performances at the Meet of Champions alongside teammates Liv Wojie ’26, Ally Sparno ’26, Clare Ratliff ’27, Caroline Burr ’27, and Caroline Bennett ’28.
