Upper School Students Bring The Addams Family to Life in Winter Musical
Meghan Hodgin

Oak Knoll presented its 2026 Upper School winter musical, The Addams Family, from February 26-28 in the Mother Mary Campion Center for the Performing Arts.

Featuring 23 Upper School performers and supported by a crew of 10 students, the production brought to life the story of the unconventional Addams family as they navigate love, secrets, and the tension between tradition and individuality. With humor, heart, and memorable musical numbers, students delivered performances that balanced comedic timing with genuine emotion.

Reflecting on the experience, Director Lillie Accetta shared, “Working on this production has been a joyful reminder that being different isn’t something to hide, but something to honor.” That message was evident throughout the performance, as students embraced the show’s themes of authenticity, acceptance, and belonging.

The production was especially meaningful for Oak Knoll’s eight senior cast and crew members, whose leadership and dedication helped shape both the performance and the collaborative spirit behind the scenes. In collaboration with Musical Director Joseph Elefante, the production came together as a thoughtful and engaging experience for audiences.

More than a performance, The Addams Family offered a reflection on honesty, individuality, and the importance of staying true to oneself.
