  • Lower School Substitute Teachers

    Oak Knoll seeks qualified substitute educators to work with students in grades K to 6 on a per diem basis.

    Degree Requirements:
    • Bachelor’s degree and above or in their senior year of undergraduate studies at an accredited college or university.
    Job Responsibilities will include:
    • Willing to be contacted for coverage the morning of placement
    • Must be able to work the full school day of 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
    • Support the teacher by implementing the daily curriculum for assigned grade level
    • Create and maintain a positive, structured learning environment
    • Hold students to high academic and behavior standards consistent with the Oak Knoll School Mission and handbook
    • Hold students accountable during class time, transitions, meals, recess time, and other learning opportunities that may be assigned to the substitute teacher
    • Collaborate with other teachers to ensure a safe environment for all students.

  • Summer Camp Staff

    Oak Knoll seeks staff members for our summer 2018 Summer Adventures day camp. Dates of employment are from June 25 to August 10, 2018. Camp hours are 8:30 a.m. to 3:45 p.m., Monday to Friday, however, flexible schedules are available.
    Open Positions Include:
    Head Counselor (must be certified teachers or have an education degree) - responsible for a group of campers, taking them to various activities and participating in activities.
    Assistant Counselor (college student) - works with Head Counselor and responsible for a group of campers, taking them to various activities and participating in activities.
    Specialists in music, lacrosse, science (must be certified teacher or have experience coaching/instructing in the activity) - responsibilities include instructing campers in activity, maintaining safety and planning activities for various age groups.

    Oak Knoll seeks a theology teacher and campus minister to join a department in the instruction of theology and the implementation of service and retreat opportunities in the Upper School. Candidates must be catholic and have 3+ years' teaching experience.

    Oak Knoll seeks a World Language teacher to join a department in the instruction of foreign language. Languages offered through the department include Spanish, French, Latin and Italian. Candidates must have 3+ years' teaching experience. Dual language candidates preferred, especially combinations of Spanish, Latin and/or French.
