College Counseling

The College Search Journey

Helping Our Students Find the Right College Match
In the exceptionally competitive world of college admissions, Oak Knoll prepares students and families for entry into the finest colleges in the country, and the world. Oak Knoll “meets the wants of the age” and helps students compete in this environment while ensuring that the process remains student-centered and focused on each student’s development and needs.
The college counselors work closely with students and their parents to educate them about the college process and lessen the anxiety that often accompanies the college search. This partnership begins in earnest during junior year when students begin to visit colleges, organize a standardized testing schedule, and create a well-balanced and researched college list.
