Athletics Branding Guidelines

In the spring of 2017, Oak Knoll School of the Holy Child unveiled a rebrand of its award-winning Royals athletics program to complement the 2015 refresh of the school's official logo and colors. The Royals rebrand includes a modern take on the OKS monogram and embraces the longstanding, yet seldom-used, lioness mascot.

Primary Logo

We are OKS, and the diagonal monogram is the chief visual component of the overall Oak Knoll athletics brand. Its bold, clean, crisp lines represent the proud 93-year tradition that is Oak Knoll athletics. This logo was designed to to be a component on uniforms, hats, accessories and clothing. It must be used in four-color (white, gold, navy and gray).

Secondary Logo

The linear monogram is a secondary option to the primary logo. This should be used sparingly and only on athletic uniforms. It also must be used in four color.

Spirit Logos

An Oak Knoll Royal is regal, confident and fearless. Our new spirit logos feature our contemporary lioness mascot, which symbolizes the attributes of an Oak Knoll athlete. These hand-drawn designs may be used on uniforms, spirit wear, accessories, etc. in four color.

Athletics Colors

Oak Knoll School colors are navy and gold. The Royals gold is a slight variation from the official school gold and a gray option is added. The Royals colors may only be used on approved athletics uniforms and apparel. They may not be used for general school clothing and accessories. Athletics apparel may only use the athletics gold.

Athletics Font

The primary athletics uniform font is UA Premier. All additional fonts need to be approved prior to usage.

Logo Use Policy

This policy provides instruction and guidance to the Oak Knoll School of the Holy Child community regarding the use of the Royals' athletic logos. The purpose is to protect the integrity of the logos, and to ensure they are used in an acceptable manner. All athletic logos must maintain approved colors, proportions and design integrity.

In order to ensure the proper display of our branded identity and its representation of our core mission and values, Oak Knoll School of the Holy Child requires that those who intend to use the school’s name, logo, seal or other copy written materials do so by completing this form and returning it to the Athletics Office.
