Campus ministry is integral to Oak Knoll life. It is the experiential aspect of the religion/theology program — practicing Catholicism in light of Holy Child traditions in the areas of liturgy, prayer experiences, retreat/reflection days, community service, and outreach.
As a Holy Child school, Oak Knoll Campus Ministry strives to embody the spirit of Cornelia Connelly and mission of the Society of the Holy Child Jesus, which is “to help others to believe that God lives and acts in them and in our world and to rejoice in God’s presence."
The campus ministry program is coordinated by the members of the campus ministry team in the Upper School and the religion coordinator in the Lower School. All members of the school community participate in the faith experiences planned by this team, and many students have the opportunity to become faith leaders of these events throughout the year.
