Etymologically, Oak Knoll means “oak tree on a hill,” and I think that our motto, parvis e glandibus quercus, “from small acorns, oaks grow,” really captures the heart of this amazing community. Being part of OKS has always felt like another home, cultivating our own personal journeys along a shared path. I’m so grateful for the teachers who have supported and encouraged me, for my inspiring and unique peers, and for the school itself, which has shaped who I am and laid the foundation for the challenges and experiences waiting for me ahead. There really is no place like Oak Knoll, which has allowed us to grow into confident young women ready to meet the world with purpose.
