My time here has been filled with so much friendship, laughter, community, faith, trust, love, and support. I am the head peer leader coordinator, a writing center tutor, field hockey manager, and member of the varsity lacrosse team. Oak Knoll is an open place to get involved in any way, and everyone shows so much encouragement. My favorite Oak Knoll memory is from freshman year, when the lacrosse team was driving back from an out-of-state Saturday game. We drove back in the pouring rain after two tough varsity and junior varsity losses. Everyone’s mood was down at first, but shortly after Taylor Swift was blasting, and the entire team was screaming the lyrics. This shows the bond that all grades have. I am so lucky to attend this school, and I would not trade a thing for it. Although I am sad to graduate in the spring, I know that Oak Knoll has prepared me very well for whatever college I attend and provided me with lifelong friendships.
