I came to Oak Knoll in sixth grade, but my year was quickly cut short due to the pandemic. Though I was a little worried about what the rest of my sixth-grade experience, as well as my transition to the Upper School, would look like, I felt constantly supported by my teachers and peers. When I walked onto campus for the first time in seventh grade, I knew I had made the right choice. The culture here is tight-knit, where everyone holds doors for one another, cheers each other on at big games or performances, and collaborates inside and outside of the classroom. I have not only met the most amazing group of girls here, but I have also made the best memories. I can walk into basically any classroom and recall a special moment I have experienced there. Being that this is my last year here as a senior, I have had the opportunity to reflect on all the amazing opportunities I have been given. I cherish not the grades I've received, but the knowledge and relationships I have gained with teachers and classmates through different clubs, classes, and student leadership opportunities. I can say that coming to Oak Knoll was truly the best decision my 12-year-old self would have made, and I am forever grateful for it.
