Being a part of the Oak Knoll community has truly changed my life. When looking at high schools in eighth grade, I chose Oak Knoll because of my first experience on campus. Everyone I met was so nice and genuine towards me while I was on my tour. I was looking for a place with a tight-knit community, which is what Oak Knoll is all about. Our community is so unique because of all the bonds that are formed between students. Teachers here are so welcoming and will always allow me to express my opinion and give me full attention, which is another reason why I chose Oak Knoll. Since coming to OKS, my confidence has grown exponentially in all of my classes and I have improved in many useful skills because of my classmates and teachers. Coming in during ninth grade was such an easy transition, and I instantly made connections with classmates. Through sports, I have created friendships that I am so grateful for, and I was able to see how gratifying everyone was. I have met so many amazing people that have positively influenced my life and I am so thankful that I joined Oak Knoll.
