Be part of Our Story

Isabel W. '27

I joined Oak Knoll when I was in the sixth grade, which was the fall after the COVID-19 shutdown. I was struggling with not being at an in-person school, which was a giant part of why I chose Oak Knoll. I got to school on the first day and was so nervous that it was going to be hard to make connections because we had to stay socially distanced. However, I found that every single person welcomed me from six feet away. I think this perfectly describes Oak Knoll. No matter the circumstances, we are a sisterhood. So, ever since sixth grade, I have been welcomed into activities like soccer, lacrosse, concert choir, student ambassadors, student council, different clubs, and more. Whether I stick with the activity or not, I have been encouraged to try new things, learn, and grow. Oak Knoll truly has let me learn enough about myself to discover my identity and find the best connections along the way, which is why it is so important to me.
