Being part of the Oak Knoll community has helped me harness my skills as a leader, a thoughtful voice in the community, and a student. As a member of the Oak Knoll Community, I was able to try many new and different things that pushed me out of my comfort zone. I tried out for new leadership positions, joined new clubs, made so many new friends, both older and younger, and connected with amazing teachers. Coming into Oak Knoll as a freshman, I wasn’t sure how I would get involved or what my future would look like, but with the encouragement of the community, I felt at home. I had enough confidence to try to push myself, and I wouldn’t have been able to do it without my peers. Now, as a sophomore, the Oak Knoll community has given me the ability to set forth a path for future success in and out of the classroom.
