I first came to Oak Knoll as an eighth grader, and I can honestly say that it was the best decision I could have made. I was one of only five new girls when I came, and I was so nervous, but from my first day, I immediately knew I had found a family at Oak Knoll. Oak Knoll is the perfect example of the saying the people make the place. The teachers and girls were so kind and welcoming, and I felt so uplifted by the community. At Oak Knoll, I have been able to embrace so many opportunities, including playing field hockey for the first time, joining different clubs, and really going out of my comfort zone. I am incredibly proud and fortunate to be a member of the Oak Knoll community, and it truly feels like a second home to me.
