When I came to Oak Knoll in seventh grade, my first experiences in the Upper School, like those of my classmates, were different from those of others since we started in 2020 when COVID-19 was at its peak. Nonetheless, Oak Knoll didn’t fail to make us feel welcomed into their community and organized class bonding activities that set the foundation of the sisterhood my grade has today. I believe that the school’s resilience during a time of uncertainty has made our community stronger when faced with challenges as well as more supportive and welcoming of new students and families. Thanks to the Oak Knoll’s ability to bring our students together, I have made friendships and gained knowledge that will last a lifetime.
