I came to Oak Knoll in my freshman year. I was extremely nervous because I had attended the same school my entire life, and I knew that attending a new school would be a significant change. Yet the second I walked into the first day of school, my fear immediately disappeared. I was overwhelmed with joy and excitement because of the incredible atmosphere fostered by Oak Knoll. Here, girls lift each other, support each other, and encourage each other to be the best they can be. At Oak Knoll, each girl has a purpose, and everyone has the opportunity to succeed, whether it be in academics, athletics, or the arts. Knowing that I am a part of such a special, loving community gives me the confidence to go out of my comfort zone and be who I want to be.
