My first days at Oak Knoll were challenging and somewhat scary. I only knew one person coming into a new school, and I was trying to adapt to a whole new system of learning. However, during a class bonding activity that the school created, I was able to meet the friends that I am still close with today, and I am so glad that I can continue to expand that circle. Through extracurriculars such as Dancers and Ensemble, I was able to find welcoming and compassionate little families within the whole family of Oak Knoll. Overall, I would say I have had many wonderful ups and downs at Oak Knoll and made so many memorable bonds with members of the school. The Oak Knoll community that I have grown to be a part of made what I thought would be a terrifying start to high school not so scary after all.
