This Week's Announcements

We are thrilled to announce that our Middle School spring sports season for girls in grades 6-8 is just around the corner! Practices and activities will begin after spring break and continue through Wednesday, May 14, 2025. To conclude this fantastic season, we invite you to our End of Year Celebration of Middle School Athletics on Wednesday, May 28, at 4 p.m. in the Mother Mary Campion Center. This special event is open to all middle school student-athletes, coaches, parents, guardians, and family members. We hope to see you there as we honor the hard work and dedication of our athletes and coaches!

Important Details

• Schedules: Team schedules will be updated regularly on myOKS as games and competitions are added. Please edit your myOKS notification settings to stay informed throughout the spring season. You can choose to receive a text message or email when games or practices are added or changed. You can also download Oak Knoll’s mobile app to view the game schedule on the go.
• All Levels Welcome: Middle school sports at Oak Knoll are inclusive—there are no tryouts, and students of all abilities and skill levels are encouraged to participate!
• Uniforms & Attire: Game uniforms will be provided for our Track & Field and Lacrosse teams. For clinics and practice sessions, please ensure participants wear comfortable, sport-appropriate attire that adheres to school guidelines.
• If your child has signed up for a spring sport, their name should appear on the appropriate team roster on myOKS. If you don’t see your child’s name listed, please reach out to Assistant Athletic Director Melissa White at melissa.white@oakknoll.org for assistance.

Spring Sports Offerings

Softball Clinic

• When: Mondays and Wednesdays, 3-4:30 p.m.
• Where: Turf field, Tisdall Gym, or Memorial Field (pickup at Tisdall at 4:30 p.m.)
• Focus: Skill development in a friendly and fun environment, perfect for all levels — from beginners to experienced players looking to enhance fielding and hitting skills.
• Led by: Kim Connolly, Associate Director of Technology Innovation & Integration: kimberly.connolly@oakknoll.org

Tennis Clinic

• When: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 3-4:30 p.m.
• Where: On-campus tennis courts or Tisdall Gym (location updates in myOKS; pickup details below)
• Focus: A mix of skill development and game play for players of all levels.
• Led by: Genevieve Gramatica, Head Varsity Tennis Coach: genevieve.gramatica@oakknoll.org
• Pickup Information:
  • Tennis Courts: Use 44 Blackburn to access the upper parking lot and meet your child at the stairs to the courts.
  • Tisdall Gym: Pickup at 83 Ashland Road.

Track & Field

• When: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays (some meets on Tuesdays/Thursdays), 3-4:30 p.m.
• Where: On-campus and Memorial Field (pickup at Tisdall at 4:30 p.m.)
• Led by: Sean Melican, Upper School Chemistry Teacher: sean.melican@oakknoll.org

Lacrosse

• When: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, 3-5 p.m.
• Where: Turf field, on campus (pickup at Tisdall at 5 p.m.)
• Details: Two teams (Gold and Navy) will be split by skill level. All athletes are welcome — beginners and experienced players alike! Game schedules will include a mix of single-game days and doubleheaders. Players not competing are encouraged to attend and cheer on their teammates!
