Oak Knoll Freshman Reagan Moore is 400M State Champion

Congratulations are in order for Oak Knoll Freshman Reagan Moore ’27, who claimed the state championship title in the 400-meter race at the Non-Public A State Championship. Held on June 7 and 8, 2024, at Stockton University, Moore sprinted to victory with an impressive time of 55.19 seconds.

The state championship saw other notable performances from Oak Knoll’s spring track team. Moore finished fourth in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:13.66. Heidi Pearce ’24 also delivered a strong showing, finishing fourth in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 15.77 and fifth in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:08.39. Additionally, our 4×400 relay team, consisting of Clare Ratliff ’27, Anna Wojie ’25, Ella Hennessy ’26, and Moore, secured a commendable third place with a time of 4:00.46.

Our track and field team has enjoyed a powerful spring season, including clinching the Mountain Division title in the Union County Conference Championships in May and smashing several school records at the historic Penn Relays in April.

Next up for the Royals is the prestigious Meet of Champions at Pennsauken High School on Wednesday, June 12, 2024. Moore is set to compete in both the 400-meter and 800-meter events, while the dynamic relay team of Ratliff, Wojie, Hennessy, and Moore will vie for top honors in the 4×400 relay.

Best of luck to our Royals!
