Saburn Fund for Experiential Education

After sixteen years of exceptional service as Head of School, Tim Saburn is approaching his retirement from Oak Knoll in June. Under Tim’s leadership, Oak Knoll has flourished. The school’s commitment to academic excellence is stronger than ever, as seen in the quality of our students, faculty and staff. Oak Knoll’s athletics, arts and campus ministry programs are outstanding, and the school’s mission and commitment to Catholic teaching set it apart.

We are pleased to announce the Saburn Fund for Experiential Education. Tim is a firm believer in the life-changing power of experiential and service-based learning. Money raised for this fund will support opportunities outside the classroom, such as student exchanges, retreats, and a broad range of service projects. Per Tim’s wishes, there will be a special focus on students receiving financial aid.

Tim is everything we could have hoped for in a Head of School, and more.
