Prepare for success in geometry with our intensive and personalized summer course designed to equip students with the foundational skills needed for the challenges of geometry, using ALEKS (Assessment and Learning in Knowledge Spaces). This program serves as a comprehensive bridge, ensuring a smooth transition into geometry and building confidence in tackling geometric concepts.

Key Features:

1. 1. Private one-on-one sessions with teacher via Zoom: Throughout the course, students can schedule four sessions with an Oak Knoll teacher. Each session is an hour in length and will take place via Zoom. Once registered for the course, each student will select a day/time that meets their schedule for these sessions. Zoom sessions will take place between the time period of June 24 – August 8. 
   2. ALEKS Adaptive Learning: Experience a personalized learning journey with ALEKS, a dynamic platform that assesses your current knowledge and adapts the curriculum to meet your individual needs. Enjoy a tailored learning experience that focuses on areas requiring reinforcement for geometry readiness.
   3. Geometry Fundamentals: Delve into fundamental geometry concepts, including points, lines, angles, polygons, and basic geometric constructions. Build a solid foundation in the principles that serve as the groundwork for success in geometry.
   4. Interactive Learning Modules: Engage with interactive learning modules that reinforce geometric principles through hands-on activities. These modules are designed to cater to various learning styles, providing a dynamic and stimulating learning environment.

   8. Pre-Assessment and Post-Assessment: Begin the course with a pre-assessment to identify your current knowledge level in geometry fundamentals. Complete a post-assessment at the end of the course to measure your progress and celebrate your readiness for the challenges of geometry.
   9. Three-Month Access: Access to the online course begins on June 24. Students will have access to this course for three months. This will provide an excellent secondary resource as students begin the school year. It will also allow them to refine their math skills for the entire summer!
