Oak Knoll Celebrates 30th Anniversary of the Royal Boutique Holiday Market

The Oak Knoll Parents’ Association is proud to announce the school’s cherished holiday shopping event, the annual Royal Boutique, will be held on campus, celebrating its milestone 30th anniversary year in Summit from November 2-4, 2023. The annual shopping extravaganza will be held in the Tisdall Hall Gymnasium located at 83 Ashland Road in Summit, NJ.

The Royal Boutique had its beginnings in 1993, when a group of Oak Knoll parents in the Mother’s Auxiliary decided to organize a small shopping event for the community.  This small event has grown from just one day to two and one-half days and is a popular lead-in to the holidays for members of the greater Summit community. More than two thousand shoppers enter the Oak Knoll gymnasium each November to shop the Boutique, searching for interesting holiday and hostess finds.

Twenty-five percent of sales support Oak Knoll School of the Holy Child, a private Catholic PK-12 school in Summit, New Jersey. This tradition brings faculty, parents, students, staff, and community members together to support the school and each other in a relaxed, festive setting.

Approximately 40 exclusive vendors will offer a large selection of women’s, children’s, and babies’ clothing: popular toys and games, home goods, clothing, monogrammed items, accessories, handbags, jewelry, specialty foods, gifts and much, much more. Vendors include Adler Grier, Kee Designs, Everything’s Rosey, Birch House Candles, Summer Love Designs, Take a Bough, LLC, and Jake’s Gems.

“The Royal Boutique has been an eagerly awaited shopping event for 30 years,” said Cynthia Prewitt, Oak Knoll Director of Institutional Advancement. “The Parents’ Association has been working tirelessly on making this year’s event the best ever!”

Shoppers comment on the high quality of merchandise offered, and this year will be a milestone year for all fulfilling holiday gift needs. Oak Knoll welcomes all in the area back to their campus on the evening of November 2 and on November 3 and November 4 during our daytime shopping hours.

Celebrate our 30th year with Oak Knoll and get a head start on holiday shopping, or simply treat yourself or a friend to something special at The Royal Café and Bakery, which will also be open on Friday, Nov. 2, and Saturday, Nov. 3.

The Royal Boutique is free to the public, and the hours are as follows:

  •   Thursday, November 2: 6-9 p.m.
  •   Friday, November 3: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  •   Saturday, November 4, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
