What are the tuition payment plan options at Oak Knoll?

Oak Knoll offers a range of flexible payment plans. Families can pay tuition in one installment (100% of tuition and fees by August 10), in two installments (70% of tuition and 100% of fees by August 10, with the remainder by January 10), or in ten installments (10% of tuition each month beginning March 15 through December 15, with 100% of fees due by March 15; a $75 administrative fee is added for the ten-installment option). The Business Office is willing to work with families to explore payment options that reflect their individual circumstances.

Are loans available to help pay for tuition?

Yes, families can apply for a loan through Happen Bank, which offers flexible repayment terms of 24-84 months. Families may borrow up to $50,000 with no prepayment penalties.

Are outside scholarships available?

Yes. Oak Knoll partners with the Tri-County Scholarship Fund, which awards approximately 500 Kindergarten through 12th grade scholarships each year to qualified students who live within Morris, Passaic, or Sussex counties of New Jersey. Oak Knoll also participates in the Scholarship Fund for Inner-City Children, which invites families with children in grades K-12 who attend Catholic schools within the Archdiocese of Newark to apply for partial-tuition scholarships.

How do I apply for financial assistance at Oak Knoll?

Oak Knoll uses Clarity Tuition, a secure third-party platform, to assess financial needs based on information such as assets, income, and expenses. The Clarity application for 2027-2028 is available and typically takes less than 30 minutes to complete; it is mobile-friendly, and applicants can save their progress and return at any time. There is a $65 fee to submit the application, and applicants can share it with additional schools that accept the Clarity Application for no additional charge. All support is available in English and Spanish, and the application itself is fully translated into Spanish. Support is available through the in-app "Help" button, by email, or by phone.

What are the financial aid deadlines?

For early 9th grade applicants and returning families, the deadline is December 1. For all other applicants, the deadline is January 15. Supporting financial documents are due by January 25, 2027, for all applicants.

Pay tuition in one installment: 100% of tuition and fees by August 10.

The Peacock Access Fund

The Peacock Access Fund, established by the Alumnae/i Association with continued funding by the Parents’ Association, provides students with equitable access to a full Oak Knoll education by providing financial support for non-tuition expenses. These expenses include academic experiences and community-related activities that incur additional costs for families – bridging a critical gap in our existing financial aid program. This fund seeks to remove financial barriers that may hinder a student’s participation and sense of belonging at Oak Knoll.
