Oak Knoll Field Hockey Players Named to National Academic Squad

Eleven Oak Knoll School student-athletes (eight juniors and three seniors) were recently named to the National Field Hockey Coaches Association High School National Academic Squad.

The student-athletes are recognized for having a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 out of 4.0 and Scholars of Distinction are recognized for receiving a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.9 out of 4.0. 

Oak Knoll School seniors named to the NFHCA High School National Academic Squad are Alexandra Accardo ’22 of Brookside, Mia Albano ’22 of Morristown, and Samantha Petrucco ’22 of Short Hills. 

Oak Knoll School juniors named to the NFHCA High School National Academic Squad are Darby Campbell ’23 of Madison, Emma Ramsey ’23 of Summit, Julia Ramsey ’23 of Morristown, Laura Ryan ’23 of Madison, Madeline Sepe ’23 of Watchung, Kate Siedem ’23 of Madison, Charlotte Sutton ’23 of Chatham and Annie Verrone ’23 of Morristown.

Ryan ’23, Siedem ’23 and Petrucco ’22 were recognized as Scholars of Distinction for receiving a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.9 out of 4.0.

“I am extremely proud of our student-athletes who demonstrate excellence both on the field and in the classroom,” said Oak Knoll Field Hockey Coach Ali Good. “To receive this honor is a true testament to their ability to balance both sports and academics at the highest level.  I think it says a lot about how committed our student-athletes are to everything they do from the minute they start school in the early morning all the way to the late hours on the field.  I am always amazed by the hard work, passion, and dedication they demonstrate to both their academics and sport.  It is truly remarkable!”
