Schlageter and Maseker, who both will be taking their game to Notre Dame this fall, were previously named preseason All-Americans and 2019 High School All-Academic Team.

Maseker, of Madison, NJ, praised Oak Knoll for cultivating her growth both on and off the field as a student-athlete.

“Oak Knoll helped develop my leadership skills and reinforced that hard work and commitment pays off,” said Maseker. “I am grateful for all my coaches and the Oak Knoll athletic administration who were instrumental in teaching me to trust myself, my teammates, my coaches and the process. I will be forever grateful for the lessons learned, friends made, and games played as a Royal.”

Maseker is looking forward to continuing her lacrosse career at Notre Dame.

“I will take with me the commitment, confidence and the will to win as a team that I experienced as a Royal,” she said.

Dr. Kelly Childs, Oak Knoll’s Athletic Director, praised Schlageter and Maseker for making the All-American Lacrosse Team and said that it is such a well-deserved honor.

“Not only have they been tremendous students and leaders on our campus, but they have outstanding lacrosse abilities, and it’s great to see their hard work and commitment rewarded,” said Childs. “Both girls are true students of the game and dedicated to becoming the best athletes for themselves and their teammates. Unfortunately, we were not able to see them perform on the Oak Knoll field this past spring, but we are so excited to follow their careers at Notre Dame and beyond.”

Way to go, Royals!
