The Cross Country team had one of their most successful seasons in recent memory. The team of dedicated runners finished the season with many team and individual accolades. The Royals as a team placed first in the Newark Academy Invitational meet, second in the NJCTC Championship meet, won the Union County Conference Mountain Division and placed fifth overall in the Union County meet (the highest finish in over 10 years)! Every girl on the team had a personal best throughout the year with Lily Murphy ’22 qualifying and running at the Meet of Champions with the other top runners in the state. Murphy also competed in the 2021 Eastbay Cross Country Northeast Regional against the top runners in the region!
