College Counseling

The College Search Journey

Helping Our Students Find the Right College Match

In the competitive world of college admissions, Oak Knoll prepares students and families for entry into the finest colleges in the country, and the world. Oak Knoll “meets the wants of the age” and helps students navigate in this environment while ensuring that the process remains student-centered and focused on each student’s development and needs.

The college counselors work closely with students and their parents to educate them about the college process and provide all the information necessary for a successful college search. This partnership begins in earnest during junior year with our two-year College Seminar course and College Counseling Retreat, as well as through one-on-one and family meetings, during which time each student and her college counselor work on an individual plan.
